There are both environmentally friendly and economic benefits of green roofs:

Green roofs aid to capture precipitation and delay the peak flow volume, or storm surge, during rain events. They can hold large amounts of rain back from the initial surge into storm sewers, releasing it slowly and measured; thereby reducing the chances of a flood event. They act to filter pollutants and heavy metals out of rainwater.

Employment Eligibility Verification

    SIOUX FALLS, S.D.--Dominique Morrison scored seven of his team-high 16 points in overtime to lead Oral Roberts to a 65-64 victory over North Dakota State in the Summit League men's basketball quarterfinals Sunday, March 7, before a crowd of 6,245 at Sioux Falls Arena. Oral Roberts improved to 20-12 and advaned to Monday night's 8:30 p.m. semifinal against IUPUI, which defeated Western Illinois 77-68 on Saturday night. North Dakota State ended its first losing season in eight years with an 11-18 record.
